I got around to checking out the Install PDF on Z1 and there was one caveat: if the turbines/impellers have made any contact with the housing, the housing is toast. I have no idea what condition mine are in, but if go through all that trouble just to find one/both can't be rebuilt would be disheartening. I really wanted to order all the parts and have it ready to install the moment I pull the motor to keep downtime to a minimum, but now it sounds like I should at least pull and disassemble the turbos before ordering any CHRAs. Going the aftermarket route now sounds "easier" albeit more expensive...
